The picturesque 18th Century Winnock Hotel is nestled in the centre of the hillside village of Drymen, near the shores of Loch Lomond and Trossach National Park where mountains and moorlands, lush, green forests, bubbling brooks and tranquil lakes provide a backdrop to a refreshing break.
Staying four nights half board at the Winnock Hotel, Drymen our tour includes the following excursions:
Maid of Forth cruise to Inchcolm Island including time on Inchcolm Island with its Abbey dating back to the 12th Century. There is an abundance of wildlife including seals, puffins and occasional sightings of dolphins and porpoise.
2 Hour Loch Lomond cruise to discover all the secret islands of Loch Lomond
Return ferry from Ardrossan to Brodick for the day on the Arran Island including a visit to Brodick Castle
2 nights entertainment at the Hotel

All rooms at the hotel are en-suite with colour TV & tea and coffee making facilities. The hotel dates back to the late 1700'sand was formally a coaching inn. There is no lift in the hotel but there are ground floor rooms available on request.

BRUGES & LILLE CHRISTMAS MARKETS
Day 1; Friday 1st December
We will leave Lincolnshire on Friday morning to travel down to Folkestone to catch the Eurotunnel to Calais. The Eurotunnel journey takes only 35 minutes! We will arrive in Bruges in time for you to freshen up before exploring the local area and finding a local restaurant for your evening meal.
Day 2; Saturday 2nd December
After your breakfast you will have a free day to explore Bruges. Bruges - medieval beautiful setting is host to one of the most famous Christmas markets in Belgium, offering the best of winter products, Christmas gifts and warm gluhwein and snacks. Stalls can be found on the Market Square and on Simon Stevinplein. Bruges itself is a delightful little city of canals and bridges and is famous for its Chocolate and Lace Making.
Day 3; Sunday 3rd December
After breakfast our coach will pick you up from the Hotel and travel to Lille. The Christmas market takes place in the Place Rihour which has around 80 chalets festively adorned with traders from Russia, Canada and Poland offering gift ideas. A Ferris Wheel turns on the main square, which is transformed into a Winter Wonderland and the local shop windows compete to be the most original. Lille itself has over 3900 shops in the city offering something for every taste. If time permits on the return journey we will stop at Ypres and take in the moving Last Post Ceremony at 8pm.
Day 4; Monday 4th December
After our final breakfast we travel back to Lincolnshire, sadly your festive trip comes to an end!
Staying three nights bed & breakfast at the 4*Academie Hotel, Bruges. Situated on a charming cobbled street the Market Square and shopping areas are in walking distance. All rooms are en-suite with tea and coffee facilities.
